【Preface】
With the theme of "making friends, promoting trade, promoting investment and cooperationfor a win-win situation", the 34th Dalian Import & Export Commodities Fair will integrate trade promotion with retail show, and create a multilevel and multi-field display and trading platform for Chinese and foreign enterprises. The Fair will join hands with a wider range of countries and regions, present richer regional famous products, deduce more vivid folk culture, and strive to create a "city shopping festival" with international influence.
Dalian Import and Export Commodity Fair was founded in 1987. It is the first regionalimport and export commodity fair approved by the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of the People's Republic of China. So far, it has successfully held 33 sessions. It has become an annual comprehensive international trade event with international influence in Northeast China and the Bohai Rim Economic Zone. It has played an important role in promoting in-depth cooperation in economic trade and cultural tourism among enterprises of various countries and regions.
Dalian is a significant window in the opening of Northeast China and the most open and coloring coastal city in northern China. It is an important international trade and shipping center in Northeast Asia, also an important node city along the Belt and Road line. Meanwhile, Dalian is one of the permanent holding venues of summer Davos.
In May, with fragrance of Flos Sophorae, Dalian is full of attractive scenery. We sincerely welcome friends from home and abroad to visit the Dalian Import and Export Commodities Fair, looking for business opportunities and creating achievements.
【Review】
In the 33rd session of 2019, nearly 500 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions suchas France, Poland, Russia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, Iran, Ghana and Kenya participated the Fair, and the total exhibition area amounted to 15,000 square meters. With an increase of 21.8% over last year, the 4-day Fair attracted 95,000 visitors. The cumulative turnover was 390 million yuan. More than 960 intentional contracts have been signed, and the amount of intentional cooperation is nearly RMB 1 billion.
